Georgetown College Dorm Rooms

  • PLEASE NOTE: ONLY 240 DORM ROOMS WILL BE AVAILABLE SO IT IS HIGHLY LIKELY THAT THEY WILL SELL OUT IN ADVANCE. THEREFORE, IF YOU WANT A DORM ROOM, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO RESERVE YOUR ROOM WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR THE RIDE.
  • Cost - Dorm rooms are $50 for Friday and Saturday night, one or two occupants. (Price is per Room NOT per person. IF YOU PLAN TO SHARE A ROOM WITH SOMEONE, ONLY ONE OF YOU NEEDS TO PURCHASE A ROOM!)
  • Occupancy - Rooms have two (2) single beds and enough space for two (2) single bikes. Occupancy is limited to two (2) adults, except up to two (2) children under the age of 12 may accompany their parents and sleep on the floor.
  • Air conditioning – All dorms are air-conditioned.
  • Linens and Blankets are NOT Provided - You must bring your own pillows, blankets, linens, and towels.
  • Check in and Check out - Dorms open at 3:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 25 and close on Sunday, May 27 at 4:00 p.m.
  • Key Deposit - There is at $10 refundable key deposit that will be collected at check-in.
  • Making Reservations - Rooms may be reserved on-line only at the time you register for the ride. There will be an opportunity to make special requests regarding your room (for example, you would like to be near someone else or with other members of your cycling club) and Georgetown College will try to accommodate these types of requests when possible, however there is no guarantee they will be able to do so.
  • Wi-fi - Complimentary public wi-fi will be available to all participants staying in the dorms.
  • Rules and Caveats:
    • No alcohol, smoking, or firearms are permitted on the Georgetown College campus.
    • Restrooms will be designated for men or women and may be on alternating floors – You must use the restroom designated for your gender – No exceptions!!!
    • Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in you being asked to leave and in this case, no refunds will be issued.
  • Refunds or Substitutions:
    • Refunds - If you reserve and pay for a dorm room and your plans change and you are no longer able to join us, we will refund the amount you paid for your dorm room if you submit your request in writing before midnight on Monday, May 21st. Refunds will be issued for cancellations after that date if we are able to place someone in your room.
    • Substitutions are permitted – Please e-mail our registration folks and let them know the name and contact information for the person who will be replacing you.

NO CAMPING OR RV PARKING WILL BE PERMITTED BEFORE REGISTRATION OPENS AT 3:00 PM ON FRIDAY, MAY 25. YOU MUST GO TO REGISTRATION AND PICK UP YOUR CAMPING CREDENTIALS PRIOR TO PITCHING YOUR TENT OR PARKING YOUR RV!!!

Georgetown College Camping - Advanced Registration Required

  • We have up to 100 spaces available for small tent camping on the Georgetown College Campus in the field next to the Recreation Center.
  • Cost is $10 for the weekend, and all campers must register in advance to secure a site.
  • No electricity will be provided and no camp fires, cooking, alcohol, smoking, or firearms are permitted on campus.
  • Restrooms (port a pots) will be available, and water and showers will be available in the Recreation Center and Gym Friday until 10 pm, Saturday from 6 am – 10 pm, and Sunday from 6 am – 5 pm
  • You will be provided with a tag when you check in for camping. The tag must be placed on the outside of your tent.
  • Caveats and Rules:
    • You must camp in your assigned space
    • Quiet hours are from 10 pm – 6 am on Friday and Saturday nights
    • You may not drive or park your vehicle on the grass
    • Failure to follow these rules could result in you being asked to leave.

Georgetown College RV Camping - Advanced Registration Required

  • Parking spots for recreational vehicles will be available in a lot near the Recreation Center.
  • We have up to 20 spots available.
  • Cost is $10 for Friday and Saturday. You must register in advance to secure a site.
  • RV campers are welcome to use the port a pots and showers in the Rec Center or gym. Please see details under tent camping for more information.
  • No electricity, sewer or other hookups are available.
